Certificate of Authenticity

Before I spend time creating a Certificate of Authenicity for a customer's request, I thought I'd ask...

Does anyone have a Certificate of Authenticity created that they would like to share with the group?

If not, I'll build one and share it.

Lots of knife makers do it. Kind of standard with the top end one I think.

There are some nice ones on the web page referenced, but make one up for engraving and let us see what you have. Maybe one could be designed for FEGA members to use, kind of giving a little more "authenticity" to the certificate. Just a thought.

This sounds great. I have had requests for these, but I have not been happy with what I have found so far. I am also a little confused as to why the client thinks he needs a cert. when I sign my work in a way not easily copied! But the customer is ALWAYS right, right?

Beathard,
I would create your own. Most of the ones I've seen are pretty mundane. Use your imagination and include some engraving styles in it, then it will truly be yours. Then the certificate will be something worth having as well as the item you engraved.
Just a thought.
