What an elegant design, so beautifully cut. Someone will be very happy for years to come. Every time the hold it you will be remembered. Thanks for inspiration. Fred

Wonderful, Martens. I am a fan of the engraving coming out of Belgium. A beautiful and elegant style.

Until he became King Albert his title was Albert, prince of Liège.
It was awarded by King Albert I of the Belgians to his youngest grandson, Prince Albert, while he was third in line to the throne of Belgium, and used from 1934 until 1993.
I think I read in a thread by Rocco Capece that the house of Lebeau Courally dedicated a type of engraving to him when he was born (1934)
Magnificent work a usual JM
see you soon:beerchug:

Frank, intriguing, I did a web search and found that a model of LeBeau Courally side lock shotguns are labeled as Prince Albert models and there are a few examples on auction sites for them. I think in the morning I will continue my research just to be in the know about these guns. Wonder if the has a watch in the style currently available as that is the focus now. Fred
