Western Cut Damascus Folder

Here's another folder I decorated for the wife. This was a real departure for me in that I didn't use the V gravers. Except for the decorations around the "L" this one was cut with flats. The wriggle cutting was a real challenge. I almost bit through my bottom lip before I got finished with that part of the engraving. (The other side of this knife is much prettier than this side, but I'm just too modest to show it. ;) )

hi
jim
getting around a curved surface like that with the wiggle tool is quit hard bad enough on a flat surface some times you have done real good

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I appreciate your comments. Steve, I'd be happy for you to use the photos anyway you like.
Thanks for looking!

I like the way you balenced the floral
Simple and clean. Nice flat work.
They are a trick to master but once you get comfy with them
they are wicked for falsh design work.
Looking forward to the next piece.
