Laser printer

I need advise on printers. I am going to buy a laser printer for transfer work. Do all the laser printers work or does it have to be a special kind. There is one for sale here, canon LBP 2900. Do you think that will work. The toner it uses is like a roll or sheet.

As far as I know, all lasers will work, but I've never heard of a laser printer that used a roll. You should probably get them to send you a sample printout for testing before you buy.

Thanks for the quick reply. The guy at the computer store just told me to test it and if it does not work I can just return it. So that will work fine.

Be sure you can get your copy out of the printer before it passes through the burner.

Tried the printer and it works fine. I just use acetone to transfer the toner from the paper to the metal, like Chris DeCamillis tought me in June. The transfer comes out fine.
