That is a tempting idea, Fred!

I have made many flutes for players in Rio de Janiero, and been invited to that city often, but don't know if I can take the heat and humidity (I could take the samba mardi gras?).

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words
The most important thing was , that all kids had fun :happyvise::happyvise:

I am surprised that a child of 9 -10 years, only for 10 hours work can make all that.

Very creative. You are teaching those kids right. It's a good thing to show kids that being creative can be fun. They'll always remember.

A wonderful experience for those children.
On the other hand, a friend of mine had this posted in his blacksmith shop.

(Lincoln Towing is a notorious Chicago towing company, they work private lots all over the city, often towing legally parked cars and charging a large ransom)

Matteson, a south suburb of Chicago.
Do you remember when an acquaintance of mine, Steve Goodman, wrote a song about Lincoln Park Towing, entitled "The Lincoln Park Pirates" ? They were the scourge of the city when I lived near the Zoo.

Kids are very creative and a lot of fun, but nothing is where it belongs after they leave.

This just reminded me that when my daughter was about 10 years old, I taught her how to wriggle a flat graver. With that ability she was able to make some simple designs and wriggle block lettering. That year she went to school for "show & tell" with my little Muhlmatt vise, a #40 flat, and a box of small brass plates. During the class she engraved names on the plates for the kids and the teacher. It was a big hit.

Bravo Evgeni! I wish I would have had this opportunity when I was a kid. Great to see this!

that's awesome! i think my shining moment in Show-&-Tell was demonstrating how my iguana eats a mealworm...
