One of my friends just lost his son-in-law, who was a 3 time afagnistan veteran.
I offered to do something special for the boys mother who is taking the loss especially hard after also loosing her father (a WWII veteran) earlier this year.
Ill be making a mold and casting more of these in silver for some of the other family members.

enjoy the work, but remember those who served.

so sad he has departed our world, along with countless others who gave all. i cant think of a better remembrance to give. that's a top shelf job. i'm sure she'll cherish this for all her days.

Any loss of life is a waste and this as Monk said (she'll cherish this for all her days) and a sad time for her and the family members.

Nice coin and so personal, our prayer to them all.
