Default How to heat up the Metal former die cup

I've just bought me a GRS metalformer but I was wondering how to heat up the CerroMetal.
Do I have to use a torch or will a heatgun do the job.
Are there any specific things to think of ?

Heat gun should work. I think that metal is similar to lead, but not toxic

Unless you want to change to the other die.

    Willem,
It depends on which alloy you have but most melt below the boiling point of water.
Here's a site that give the characteristics of each.

Thank you all for the replay, I will try the heatgun and it is indeed asked for changing dies.
    Interesting link too.
