How to heat up the Metal former die cup

I've just bought me a GRS metalformer but I was wondering how to heat up the CerroMetal.
Do I have to use a torch or will a heatgun do the job.
Are there any specific things to think of ?

Heat gun should work. I think that metal is similar to lead, but not toxic

It depends on which alloy you have but most melt below the boiling point of water.
