Seems like we were all engraving the same model gun at the same time (Colt 1911). I think it's very interesting how we approached the same canvas in completely different styles and techniques.

Nice Denis.

There does seem to be a run on colts this week.

Good point about the variety. I think its great to see how many ways there are to do something and make it attractive. Variety can be the spice of life.

I like that VERY much Dennis. I especially like the fly.

Is that a stainless gun? The reason I ask, is I have a Series 80 in stainless and was wondering if it is engravable.

This is a carbon steel gun. It has been French grayed.

I am pleased that you get and like my style. You've made my day.
My boy and I will be in San Antonio for a few days exploring the city... mainly the Alamo this April. Then off to a friends little ranch (10,000 acres) for some hog hunting.
