Nice to see you posting some engraving, Dave :) How tough was the Explorer to cut? One of these days I'll engrave my GMT.

The bezel was soft, the case and back a little harder but not bad. Go for the GMT. I had to make a dog leg for one of my dividers to scribe the 1/2 mm borders. Oh yea forgot had to make 120 gravers about 1/10 mm at the face. Only 4 mm between the borders quite a challenge.

Ceramit was a trial and error the instructions said to mix 60/40 resin to color but that mix was too stiff to brush, I used the 50/50 mix and it was a lot easier to brush, I used the smallest brush I had and kind of daubed it in the cut outs. The good news is you can sand the stuff I used the plastic backed micro sand papers after baking in a toaster over at about 180 f for 90 min and let it cool. Also thanks for the advise on the shading .Dave
