How to get thermolock off a part?
All, Thanks. Methylene chloride makes sense. I'm a chemist so I can get to that stuff. Especially since it didn't respond to acetone very much. I suspect overheating it or enough reheats is going to cause the polymer to break and reform as crosslinks. That's known to happen with this stuff. So...- technogypsy

How to get thermolock off a part?
I used thermolock to hold a part for practice. How in the name of all the Blessed do you get that stuff off? The receiver came off the mass of thermolock that held it to the vise okay but now I have this hard polymer coating on one side I can't get off.
