Been on a ranch all of my life, raised on one, worked on several, and have my own. Over time I have kept busy in the winters building saddles and tack, silver mounted bits and spurs, and always at the last minute the night before Valentines Day... jewelry to keep me out of the dog house. Have always rather liked the silver work the best but have never had any instruction on engraving. What has been engraved is self taught. Now I have the time to study other engravers work and get some much needed guidance.
