I bought an HP officejet Pro 9010 series from Staples, it uses 962 ink. I use Tom White's transperencies and solution. It transfers adequately. I had better transfers with my Canon Pixma MX892.
I just bought at Staples an HP officejet Pro 9015e inkjet printer. It works well with Tom White's formula and the transparencies he provides. The ink is a pigment ink cartridge HP962.
I just chatted with HP support. Their recommendation for an AIO that prints with black pigment ink is HP Envy PRO 6455. This printer uses HP67 ink. I need to buy an AIO since mine just died, would love to get more current suggestions. Thanks everyone
I have a Canon Pixma Pro mx890 with ink tanks numbered 225 and 226. I've had it for three years and am very happy with the quality and detail. I turn my drawing into a vector drawing and use a .5 pt line width in Adobe Illustrator. I also use Tom White's solution and printing sheets.
I have the original VHS tapes from the Robert E. Maki School of Firearms Engraving " Secrets of the Graveur" I also have the tool holders he made but I don't think the graveur is in them. He sent with the first lesson a set of one long-heel facet (square) and a long-heeled spitzer (onglettte)...
