Many have asked about the moniker "gtwister09". Well here goes. In the early 90's we already knew that security issues were going to be a concern so most security experts said don't place your name out on the internet because it can be stolen quickly (Look how far we have come now with Facebook and such but we also have to worry about identity theft and subscribe to services like Lifelock but I digress).

Anyhow I was signing up for some groups in the very early 90's and my son was in my lap twisting and turning as I was trying to think of an idea for a screen name. Well "twister" came to mind. I tried that...Sorry No cigar. So I added 01 to twister...Sorry No cigar. I tried 02 added. Sorry again. I tried up to eight and finally said I am going to add a g for Garrett and try gtwister09 for the screen name. Shazam. It was mine. Likewise it was all lower case as it should be in the UNIX world. 17 years later it has stayed with me.
