i have spent most of my life working as a wood worker and gunsmith i was a weapons repair specialist in the army
spending most of my life either building custom furnishings such as cabinets, furniture and items turned on a lathe. The past few years i have taken up carving and am often asked if i can engrave metal... mostly by my gun patrons... i must confess i don't know how to engrave and have always had a fascination to do so. i own several books detailing the history of engraving as well as some on sever men who immigrated to the us and worked for companies like colt, smith and wesson and others
