Welcome. One thing I'd suggest is try working on some mild steel, copper or brass. Aluminum has a "gummy" texture and can be challenging to deal with a new engraver.

If budget is not a consideration, I would like to see it with the background removed. Either way it is a pretty nice piece.

I can get a Power suply with 0 - 120V and 0-1 A for about 120€ the step up...
