Scott, I read that post and I tell you It's got to be hard for someone like Steve or other very well know engravers like Sam on here, where I know one of Sam's early pieces just came up for sale, to just let them go with out at least a passing thought about buying them for themselves. Maybe some day I'll get to have a piece of mine nice enough that comes up for sale, and get the opportunity to ponder that same thought myself.:big grin:

I remember Steve displaying that gun at the FEGA shows back in the 80's when I was working for New Orleans Arms. It's probably a very good buy at 20k as I doubt he would do another one for that price.

Kevin: If you're in this business long enough and get a lot of work out there, it'll come up for sale and come back to haunt you as well! :)

Cheers / ~Sam

Sam, sometimes a job returns and you can say to yourself that was well done!
