Hi Sam,
Suggestion. Could you make a section for source materials.
Example. #1.I found the best source for "Epson Ink Jet Transparencies
# S041064", can easily be order through Amazon.con at a good price.
Sort of an index of supplies we all use.

Jim

ps. Not something with full article but links to them.
In a format that is easily scanned when your in a hurry to get something
and you just want to know where to get it form. Quickly.

Jim: It's a good idea. Let me give it some thought on how and where to do it. Maybe I'll put you in charge of the source materials committee! / ~Sam

Index form

Hi Sam,
Okay. Rather than putting it in close thread. I would put it in the section so that
anyone could put in a entry.

For rules that it cannot be any longer than three line, or so many word.

Structured in Heading.
Graver
Vices
Scopes
Benches
Etc.

First word in the line has to be the Item.
Transparencies = bla, bla ,etc. etc.=jimzim75

No overt Advertising. I would think it would be in bad taste.
Last word is the authors name

This should be just one window if that's possible.

Jim: Unless it's a sticky, it'll sink into the sea of threads. If it's not closed, you'll probably get people asking questions, etc., instead of keeping it 100% sources. I want to keep stickies to a minimum as I want to avoid the first dozen threads being stickies. Another option is to create a seperate forum like Classfieds which could be nothing but sources. I'm not too keen on that idea and would rather keep as much info as possible here in the main Cafe area. Another option is to make a standard web page on iGraver with this info in it, but I would have to add it myself. Decisions decisions!

Sam, what ever you think is best. If I can help let, let me know.

Ya know, this thing might just work the way I said it would. Just by updating it with stuff now and then.

Diamond suspensions

G R I N D I N G & P O L I S H I N G
Lapmaster’s diamond
suspensions are low viscosity
suspensions designed for
high stock removal rates and
precision fi nishes. They are
water soluble, clean easily,
and will not clog dispensing
lines.
Diamond suspensions
are available with
either polycrystalline or
monocrystalline diamond.
Polycrystalline diamond has
up to 300% more surface
area than monocrystalline
diamond resulting in much
higher stock removal rates
and fi ner scratch patterns.
Polycrystalline diamond is
recommended for hard materials,
brittle coatings, or
sample composed of mixed
hardness.
